Case of batch supply of couplings by Inner Mongolia Energy Group

Energy equipment transmission solutions: Serpentine spring + drum-shaped tooth combination: Single supply over 1,000 pieces

Cooperative clients Inner Mongolia Energy Group Co., LTD Supplied products Serpentine spring couplings, drum gear couplings
Supply quantity 1,350 pieces (800 snake springs + 550 drum-shaped teeth) Application scenarios Thermal power generation equipment, coal conveying systems, and mining machinery

Project background and customer requirements

As a significant energy supplier in the region, Inner Mongolia Energy Group urgently needs a batch of high-performance couplings to meet the equipment upgrade demands of its thermal power plants and coal mines. These couplings are designed to adapt to the harsh working conditions of low temperatures and high dust levels, ensuring the continuity and stability of energy production.

  • Batch demand: A total of 1,350 couplings, to be delivered in batches within three months

  • Environmental adaptability: Can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -30℃ to 100℃, with a dust-proof rating of IP65 and resistance to wind and sand erosion

  • Performance parameters: The torque transmission range is 1000-15000N·m, ensuring continuous operation for 16,000 hours without failure

  • Safety standard: Complies with DL/T 5161.1-2014 power equipment standard and has overload protection function

Customized solutions

Low-temperature adaptability design

In response to the severe cold environment in Inner Mongolia, the serpentine spring coupling adopts low-temperature tough alloy materials (impact energy ≥34J at -40℃). The drum gear coupling is lubricated with special grease to ensure normal start-up in an environment of -30℃, and the tooth surface is treated with low-temperature nitriding to enhance wear resistance.

2. Dual-line production guarantee

Two dedicated production lines for serpentine springs and drum-shaped teeth have been established, equipped with automated processing equipment, to achieve an average daily production capacity of 15 pieces. Establish a dedicated quality control team to conduct 100% testing on key indicators such as low-temperature performance and torque transmission.

3. Regional delivery plan

The delivery will be carried out in three batches according to the demands of power plants and coal mines: the first batch of 400 pieces (250 serpentine springs + 150 drum-shaped teeth) will be supplied to the eastern mining area, the second batch of 450 pieces will be supplied to the western power plants, and the third batch of 500 pieces will be replenished from the inventory. Anti-freezing maintenance training is provided as a package.

All 1,350 couplings have been installed and put into use in various subordinate units of Inner Mongolia Energy Group. After 16 months of extreme climate tests, the products still maintained stable operation in a low-temperature environment of -30℃, and the equipment maintenance cost was reduced by 42%, providing a reliable guarantee for the safe production of energy.

Customer review

The couplings purchased this time have perfectly adapted to the cold and dusty environment of Inner Mongolia. All 1,350 pieces of products were delivered on time and of reliable quality. Especially under the extremely low-temperature conditions in winter, the stability of equipment start-up and operation far exceeded expectations, effectively ensuring our continuous production. It is worth long-term cooperation.
